I started The Growing Place after a time in my life when everything fell apart — family, work, purpose, the lot.

Getting back outside, mowing lawns and working with my hands, gave me space to breathe again. Bit by bit, I found my footing — and realised how powerful nature can be for rebuilding confidence and hope.

What began with an old mower and my parents’ car turned into something much bigger: a way to help others find purpose too. 

 

The Growing Place's mission is to bring people and communities together through outdoor work, support, and wellbeing projects. We help people grow new skills, rebuild their confidence, and transform the spaces around them.

It’s proof that even when life knocks you down, you can still grow again — stronger, prouder, and full of purpose.

This is more than a business. It’s a place to grow — for people and for places.
